Chapter 830: We Won’t Dare Anymore

He was suppressed by the all-devouring murderous intent coming off Xia Jinyuan. A cold feeling crawled its way up from his feet and stopped by the side of his heart, causing his body to shiver from the feet up. He was so afraid that every single cell in his body was reminding him to run away, to flee! If he doesn’t escape, then he would very likely lose his life!

He wanted to run away, but Ye Jian, who tried to stop Xia Jinyuan from taking things into his own hands, had made a move before him. She lifted her feet and made a side-kick towards Luo Ran’s stomach, and he was kicked so hard his body planted onto the ground. He was already having trouble breathing beforehand, with the sudden spike of pain, Luo Ran almost blacked out.

“Ye Jian, how dare you f*cking kick me!” Luo Ran, whose face was contorted with pain, held his stomach. He glared at Ye Jian with a ferocious face. The fierceness in his eyes wasn’t the kind that instilled fear in others. Instead, it was the kind of fierceness that seemed shallow, cute, and stupid.

A fierceness that is only instilled by his lips while at the moment like this, if this wasn’t stupidity, then what was it?

He was just thinking about running from fear a moment ago, but because Ye Jian had kicked him, he was now thinking of using his own reputation to make Ye Jian afraid. That’s a stupidly funny thought process.

Ye Jian lowered her head, her gaze coldly swept downwards, when she looked at Luo Ran, she seemed like a deity overlooking on ants from the clouds above: “Not only do I dare kick you, I dare to kill you!” Her voice was cold and thin, causing a chill to shroud the area.

“How dare you, you…”

“Something that even you would dare to do, why would I not dare to?” She said while smiling, but the pupils of her eyes were as frosty as the ice forming on the surface of an old well. The ice-surface was bone-chilling, while the depth underneath the ice was unfathomable, instantly causing Luo Ran to choke on his words, and he didn’t dare to say anything else for quite some time.

Xia Jinyuan lightly swept his gaze across the high school boy who was trying to act tough after falling onto the ground. He said towards his little fox: “If you don’t clean up people like this beforehand, they’ll just become the bane of society. If we clean them up earlier, we’ll be doing the citizens a justice.”

“Let me handle this.” Ye Jian raised her head and glanced at Xia Jinyuan, who wanted to take care of troublesome stuff for her, and she smiled: “You guys don’t need to handle matters between students. If you really wanted to help me take care of them, then just get rid of these couple of thugs. It doesn’t matter if they’re dead or alive, as long as I don’t see them in the future.”

Her casual and dismissive tone immediately made Brother Huang and his thugs realize that they were begging the wrong person for mercy; they should’ve been begging this little ancestor in front of them.

Unfortunately, it’s already too late, Xia Jinyuan was already enraged, how would he let them go so quickly?

His lips arched upwards ever so slightly, the man with a great posture nodded his head with a smile, he only said one word, “Okay,” and gestured with his hand. Four men got off their motorbikes without carrying anything in their hands; the only thing they carried was the bloodlust wrapping around them while walking towards the thugs who were trembling from fear.

Brother Huang, who was kicked in the face, with some teeth missing and was near death’s door from the kickstarted begging much more pitifully, “Third Master, we won’t dare anymore, we won’t dare anymore, Third Master please, I beg Third Master to give me a chance, please… I beg of you.”

His unclear voice was filled with fear, and the fear of his life coming to an end had also infected Luo Ran, causing this boy who was used to acting arrogantly in front of Ye Jian to be pale from fear.

When Ye Jian heard Xia Jinyuan said “Okay,” she loosened her grip of the silver wire in her hands with a smile on her face… If she had really strangled Luo Ran to death, then it wouldn’t be worth it.

She turned around and stared at Luo Ran while towering above him. Under the bright light, Ye Jian’s usual gentle face was coated with a layer of cold and hard light, emotionless, only indifference remained. Such indifference made Luo Ran, who was staring back, to shiver from the depths of his heart.

He could see the uncaringness she had towards his own life, and he managed to see that taking care of him was but a matter of lifting a hand for her. He was also able to discern the thing strangling his neck was a thin silver-made wire, and this wire was something that seemed quite familiar,… it was that silver bracelet Ye Jian always wore on her left arm!
