Chapter 1081 Major Xia Appeared

The marching Ye Jian only remembered she had walked for twelve days. She wasn’t concerned about spending her Chinese New Year alone in the rainforest; Ye Jian did her best to protect her own life in her solitary extreme wilderness survival training.

“I keep my head clear and alert, and my body fit because, without them, I have nothing else to repay my motherland. I will not disappoint my motherland, let alone bringing shame to myself and the military.”

“My only goal is to complete my mission and complete my next mission alive!”

Whenever she walked till her legs, feel like lead, whenever she started having a fever after being bit by bugs, whenever she encountered those beasts in search of food, and every time she escapes the jaws of death, Ye Jian recited the Special Forces’ creed from each and every nation as she forced herself to keep marching, moving forward with these creeds and beliefs!

1999’s first day, the second day…, until the third day, which was also the third day of the lunar new year, at 2 p.m., Ye Jian, who had spent fifteen days on her solitude wilderness survival training, arrived at her final destination four hours ahead of her estimated time.

To arrive at the final destination of her marching route in time, Ye Jian had split the six hours spent on the drug trader elimination operation into six days, every day for a week. She started her journey one hour earlier to successfully catch up to her six-hour delay.

She arrived four hours ahead of time. She hugged her gun as she leaned her back against a rock as she adjusted her breathing. She hadn’t felt much while marching for fifteen days in the rainforest, but when she just got out, her tensed nerves had wholly relaxed, tiredness, sleepiness rushed into her all at once. Her eyelids seemed as if they were weighed down by several large rocks.

“She’s exhausted, let her rest for a bit.” Staring at the figure close at hand, seeing her weary figure, Xia Jinyuan, who was not far away, wore gentle eyes. They were as gentle as the warm sun watching over her quietly.

The scrawny little girl of the past had now grown into a qualified Special Forces soldier and was now moving towards the best of the best. Seeing her weariness, though his heartaches, he was feeling much more contentment.

The eighteen-year-old Ye Jian had proven herself to the military through her own strength. She could absolutely become the youngest special forces soldier in the military of the present!

She needed the military to see her boundless potential, and those potential could still be developed!

The sun was hot, enveloping her body in warmth, and it was relatively easy to fall asleep while lying down like that, then we shall let Ye Jian rest for a small while. There are still four hours till her march ends; she could still rest for four more hours.

“That’s also good; she returned four hours ahead of time, while also helping the brothers complete their operation. Little lass Jian is truly worn out. There’s only one female soldier who can accomplish what she had done!”

Uncle Chen’s gaze was filled with benevolence; it carried the encouragement from an elder to a younger person, as he had always used his own way to train Ye Jain.

It can be said that without Uncle Chen, without Old Uncle Gen, today’s Ye Jian will not be born. Without these two elders who were her “Morningstars,” even if the reincarnated Ye Jian could alter the life-changing events in 8th Grade, she couldn’t start her military journey.

To Uncle Chen, Xia Jinyuan treated him extremely respectfully.

“Uncle Chen, leave her to me. Major General is right ahead, regarding Ye Jian entering the military in advance, Uncle can discuss with Major General in detail. I would also like to bring up a suggestion and suitably try to get Major General’s resources for Ye Jian. For example, the routine regiment transferral during the Military School’s winter and summer break, see if we make arrangements for her?”

“She has yet to come into contact with training such as parachuting, diving, and driving armored vehicles. If she could master these skills that a special forces soldier needs to have during her military school period, everything will proceed more smoothly after graduation.”

“Experience in mountain warfare, jungle warfare, desert warfare, guerilla warfare, anti-terrorism warfare, snow land warfare, etc., can wait until after her graduation, but the technical experience must be learned and mastered while she’s still in school.”
