Chapter 1779 The Special Forces of Land, Air, and Sea

Altitude sickness wouldn’t be too evident near Kudi Pass. Still, the air pressure contrast would be large, for first-timers, if they don’t pay attention, it’ll be easy for their ears to bulge, like the ‘humming’ sound in your eardrums when in an airplane, in more serious cases, the eardrum would rupture.

Meanwhile, Mazar Pass was much more dangerous than Kudi Pass, it was the longest pass in the entire Tibet highway, the continuous slopes were around forty kilometers, the tall mountains were steep and pierced the skies, it was a place barren of plants, only brown Sandrock littered the mountains.

While Mazar’s meaning in Uighur was ‘Grave,’ from that, it was obvious how dangerous the place was.

In the raging wind and snow, a group of Art soldiers who were the same as ‘greenhouse flowers’ in the military had come over to Xinjiang and ran into a place that only had an oxygen level that was 48% in the plains. This Shenxianwan outpost had the nickname of ‘life-restricted zone.’

What is the Aid Command Center’s Leadership’s intentions of doing so? As for stating it was to give New Year Condolences, he truly didn’t believe in that.

For now, it wasn’t the time to guess why the Leaderships had arranged this so, Xia Jinyuan, who was paying close attention to the map, first calculated the time it would take for them to arrive at Kudi Pass, then started handing down orders one by one.

In his plans, he didn’t include the members of Storm Commandos.

For safety’s sake, even their training had been designated at a low altitude, how would the members of the Storm Commandos who had just arrived be able to withstand the test of high altitudes?

Maybe they could, but this time they were going on a rescue mission, time was of the essence; what if something happened to the members of the Storm Commandos that would definitely bring trouble for the entire team.

After making all considerations, Xia Jinyuan did not allow the members of the Storm Commandos to join in in this operation.

Big Whale and the others also knew this arrangement was without a doubt the most correct one, even if they really wanted to fight side-by-side with the comrades of the Elite Platoon, but they still needed to consider the situation at hand.

The Devil King had told them all soldiers in the Elite Platoon had gone through Highlands Training, they had already acclimatized to the weather in the Highlands, staring at the vigorous figures that had charged into the snowstorm, it had made Big Whale realize how large the difference between them and this Special Forces Unit from the Ground Forces once again.

“Big Whale, when compared to them, we really lack too much.” Anemone quietly said, his voice was a bit let down.

The difference was too big, really too big.

After spending one month together, they had clearly witnessed the strength of this Ground Forces’ Special Forces Unit; they could truly ascend the skies, burrow into the ground. When in the sea, they were like Water Dragons returning to the ocean; they were clearly a Special Forces Unit of Sea, Air, and Land.

With the same lamentation in his heart, Big Whale let out a long sigh, “That’s right, after training with them, I could see my own shortcomings even clearer, and I realize even more clearly the difference between me and the strong. This training exercise, in the end, it is our Storm Commando Unit that has received the largest benefit.”

They were working hard for next year’s competition abroad together, along the entire journey, except for Maritime Combat, which they were superior to the Elite Platoon. They taught many new ways of maritime combat through that, but when they arrived in the desert, highlands, it was the Elite Platoon’s turn to teach them.

Their Commander had once said, “To be able to train with this unit of Special Forces, was enough to substitute half a year of their training,” and that truly wasn’t an exaggeration!

The snowstorm raged down the snowy mountains, the raging wind and snow appeared to be able to devour the world; after getting off from Black-20 patrol helicopter, Ye Jian finally understood the reason why they didn’t head towards a lower altitude.

This was a natural wind barrier and cut off most of the might behind the snowstorm.

After getting off the pain, they didn’t take a break and immediately followed after the Squad Leader, who had been waiting at Kudi Pass Supply Station for some time, and made their way towards Mazar Pass.

The accompanying party, except for Li Jinnian, the rest of the Storm Commando members were all left behind at Kudi Pass Supply Station, which was at an altitude of more than three thousand meters.
