“I don’t have any.” Wan Li Li did not actually have a lot of money. Her father had given her 100 yuan, but she had sent 80 yuan to her mother and she had to wait until next month to get living expenses.
Her parents had divorced when she was ten years old and later, her mother had married a peasant. The peasant was greedy and lazy and did not do good things. The two of them had given birth to a son and they struggled to make ends meet.
Last summer, Wan Li Li had snuck to her grandma’s house and reconnected with her mother. She had not expected that she would be living like that. Wan Li Li was now reluctant to spend money recklessly and she saved up all the money her father gave her to send to her mother.
Sun Ying blocked the other side and had not expected that Wan Li Li would dare to refuse. “Oh, so brave. Who are you lying to? Are you pretending that I don’t know your dad is a big boss? Are you going to give it to us today or not?”
“Not giving, I don’t have any!” Wan Li Li refused to give in. She knew now that Sun Ying and Zhang Yan Jie were only scaring her but did not dare to do anything. They thought she was good to bully, huh. She would never be a sheep for others to bully ever again.
“What’s going on? Who’s there?” At this moment, two teachers on patrol waved their flashlights and walked towards them from a distance.
“Just you wait, you should be careful these days.” Sun Ying glared hatefully at Wan Li Li, then pulling Zhang Yan Jie, she ran off.
Seeing them finally running away, Wan Li Li patted her heart and let out a long sigh of relief. She suspected that if the teacher had not come out, her heart really would jump out. Fortunately, the teacher had come, otherwise she really did not know how to deal with them!
Luckily, everyone was present when she returned to the dormitory. Sun Ying and Zhang Yan Jie did not say anything else and just looked at her with unfriendly gazes.
Wan Li Li knew that the two of them would not dare to mess around in the dormitory.
Seeing that she kept looking at Zhang Yan Jie and Sun Ying, Wei Min was puzzled and leaned over to ask, “What are you staring at them for? Their self-criticism essays left quite an impression, but they are not worthy of your admiration!”
Wei Min’s voice was not loud, but her voice was nice and recognisable. Even if a group of people were talking, Wei Min’s voice could be discerned.
So when she asked this, everyone heard it and Liu Xiao Hui smiled rather unkindly, “They had the opportunity to write a self-criticism essay, unlike us who have never written a self-criticism essay up till now!”
The meaning of this was evident. What good student would have to write a self-criticism essay? It meant that Sun Ying and Zhang Yan Jie were bad students!
Usually when Wei Min mocked them, Wan Li Li would cover her mouth and laugh secretly. Today, she actually answered back and her voice was not low, “Exactly, I really admire and envy them, how come I don’t have this opportunity?!”
Zhang Yan Jie and Sun Ying looked at several people angrily. Wei Min with her quick mouth had said that their essays had left quite an impression and had followed up with mocking them for being bad students. They could not refute and could only listen aggrievedly.
Su Mian laughed secretly with the rest of them. She had slept for three days and had finally returned to normal after today. She went back into the tower space at night to practice.
Her spiritual energy had dropped by 30 points and it would be a lie to say she was not upset. She could only study harder now.
Wen Wen did not appear again and she did not know what this guy was so busy with. Ever since Da Hua and Xiao Hua had become mothers, they did not cling to Su Mian so much and had been hanging around their fluffle of children.
After she finished learning the content, Su Mian picked up a pen to write a letter to Wei Zhen Hui. It was just that she did not know how to reply to his bold words. She racked her brains to collect the brain capacity from both of her lives until she was red in the face. Her heartbeat quickened and her hair was almost like a chicken coop, yet she still could not find suitable words.
