A pirate raised his legs and kicked furiously at the car that was riddled with countless bullet holes; he cursed furiously in Somali, “Damn Curry, we’ll definitely make Rander take care of them as ruthlessly as possible! They’ll definitely be given a merciless beating!”
Curry was the Pirate Leader of one of the four great pirate organizations, and he was Radner’s nemesis; sometimes, they’d even fight with each other to get a merchant ship on the sea, even go as far as going to war on the sea.
Radner’s ‘Puntland Group’ hates Curry’s ‘Somali Marines’ to the bone because their range of activity was too large, going as far as two hundred nautical miles into the sea!
They used to hijack merchant ships around here, and before most of the ships had entered Cape Guardafui, they’d already be hijacked by the ‘Somali Marines.’
Meanwhile, ‘Puntland Group,’ the pirate organization that was established the longest, wanted to compete with whoever could go the furthest away from land, and so they frequently clashed with the ‘Somali Marines.’
This time around, the large sum of ransom they could’ve gotten into their pockets after going through so much trouble was actually hijacked by Curry; staring at the two vehicles abandoned in front of their eyes, the pirates of Puntland Group were completely enraged.
Radner was even more furious; he glared at the Caucasian man who was negotiating the amount of ransom with him; the furious Radner whipped out the pistol on his waist, the man with dreadlocks glared with his obviously unique African black eyes, staring fiercely and roared in Arabic while grinding his teeth: “F****** Whitey! You guys joined hands with Curry to try to take me out?”
4:30 in the morning, Radner, who was negotiating the ransom, received his underling’s reports. The four Chinamen who were imprisoned in his house’s jail were hijacked!
Meanwhile, this Caucasian man had been keeping him here in negotiation still last night, and they still hadn’t come to a conclusion until now; all he had done was stay here for the night, and the Chinamen he could’ve gotten a large ransom for were actually hijacked.
Then, this Caucasian man was similarly quite shocked, after receiving the news, he had a face filled with disbelief, he then yelled out “F***” in frustration, he turned around and glared furiously at the Black pirate Radner who was pointing a gun at him, “You better find them as soon as possible! Of the four Chinese, I only want one! Do what you will to the rest of the Chinese!”
“As for ransom, once you find them, we can continue to negotiate. If you fail, then you won’t get even a dime! If you don’t want to get your ransom, feel free to keep pointing that thing at me and keep wasting time here!”
Radner had long wanted to leave, but he wouldn’t let this Caucasian man leave. After he walked out, he ordered the dozen of men he had brought here to tie up the men the Caucasian men had brought along while he himself sat in a car headed to Mogadishu!
Damnit, he shouldn’t have left Mogadishu last night! If he hadn’t left, then he wouldn’t have allowed anybody to take the Chinese from his hands!
The night was already gone, with the arrival of the day; the light had drawn in the last wisp of darkness as the thin skylight wrapped itself around the city, announcing the arrival of a new day.
On the other side of the city, countless people gathered around a destroyed pub while letting out miserable cries.
Lifeless bodies were carried out one after the other; when some recognized their family members, they rushed and pounced over while crying miserably.
The families who were still waiting pressed one hand against their chest and were praying to ‘Allah’ non-stop, praying that their family members were safe and sound, yet they were answered with ruin, not peace.
When they finally saw the corpse of their family member, their family who had been standing beside them while chatting was now a cold cadaver today.
“Insya-Allah!”
An elderly woman, whose hair was white to the roots, fell onto the body of a young person, miserable sobs came out of her lips. The entire scene was chaotic, yet she was far from the only one mournfully crying here.
