We started for West Colombo by airbus. I sat and was thinking about the technique scroll that Kenma gave me. Shizuku asked what’s in my hand. I explained, it’s a training scroll. Sensei gave me after training two days under him. Shizuku said she also got a training scroll. She asked me where is my katana. But I didn’t answer and said, it’s a top secret. You can see it when the mission starts. Nanami was thinking something while looking outside the airbus. I asked him if he was training like us these days. Nanami replied, it’s none of your business. Shizuku said, what’s so funny acting rude like that? Nanami said, it’s my decision.
We reached the destination. In West Colombo, Cavles have created a lot of slums there. I asked Shizuku who the client is. She replied, it wasn’t mentioned but let’s see. Nanami was silently standing. I was looking around. But everyone was living normally. None seems to be afraid of the Cavles. Shizuku said, looks like the letter also doesn’t have the client’s name. But we have to go to the D Block. There is a slum of Cavles. Our task will be destroying that slum. Nanami was leaving us but then Shizuku held his hand and said, where are you going? Then we started for the city. But, a boy came to me and asked, are you a reaper? I said yes. He said, I always wanted to see a reaper. Shizuku asked his name. It’s Yokoshi Agi. I said, it’s nice to meet you but we have to go to D Block city. Shizuku also said the same. The boy was trying to say something but couldn’t.
Then we reached a train station to go to the D Block. The Station Master said, you can’t go there. Shizuku asked why. He said, there are Cavle slums. Our trains aren’t allowed to go there. Nanami asked if there is any other route to go there. Station Master said, if you really want that much, then cross the jungle. If you weren’t reapers, I would never tell you this info. I thanked him for this. Then we started but rain started with us also. Shizuku said, she won’t go in this rain. I said, it won’t be hard, let’s go. Shizuku still said no. I asked Nanami and he also said no. I got sad. Then Yokoshi came and said he wouldn’t mind if we live in his house for a while. Shizuku said, we don’t want you to suffer for us. I said, that was nice but we are fine here. But Yokoshi said, don’t worry, follow me!
We went to his house. It was under the train track. He told us to come inside. I said, your house is very beautiful, Yokoshi. Yokoshi thanked me. I made this house. Nanami said, I won’t stay in this small house. Shizuku told him not to act like that. She apologized and said, Nanami has some issues. Yokoshi said, it doesn’t matter to me, I am used to with this. I lived in a huge house back then and my father was a reaper. My mother died when I was only 8 years old. Then my father married another woman. But my step mom abandoned me after my father’s death. I thought she was good but still she left me. Then with my friends’ help, I built this house. I’ve been living here for 2 years. And my only goal is to be a reaper like my father. Holding his shoulder I assured him, you will reach your goal, Yokoshi!
