I actually like Han Yixao’s and Bai Juzi’s story. It’s more grounded and less irritating. The female is strong, and not stupid. I especially like how their plot unfolds, just the right pacing, no rush and not too slow. But more importantly, both of them does not seem dumb, unlike a certain emperor and empress……..

I liked how Han Yi Xiao is not very judgemental with Bai Jiu’s physique and respects her privacy despite her lying to protect her identity. As for Jun Qian Che, he has a long way to go before he could win over his wife which will be interesting to watch.
