Zhuang Nai Nai looks up when she hears that peculiar sound.
Since she has eaten, her tummy is now warm and her brain is finally working.
She very quickly catches on to the fact that the sound came from Si Zheng Ting’s tummy.

Although he didn’t eat too little during lunch, it is now 8 pm. He probably hasn’t eaten a single thing since lunch!

She is momentarily stunned before she bursts out in laughter.
Both of them share a single bowl, so, at the end of everything, none of them are entirely full.
They ask one of the maids to bring in another bowl. After finishing that, Zhuang Nai Nai is both full and tired.
The swell in her eyes disappears in no time.
After thinking for a while, going to bed directly like this feels a little discourteous, and so, she tells Si Zheng Ting that they should bid Si Jing Yu and Shi Jin Yan goodnight.
Both of them walk downstairs.
From the look on their faces, Zhuang Nai Nai cannot tell anything off.
Shi Jin Yan stands up and looks at his watch. Before he even gets to speak, Si Jing Yu speaks first, “You two came at the right time. Your brother-in-law has an important meeting tomorrow, so he will leave first.”
