Can’t go out?
Zhuang Nai Nai widens her eyes in surprise, “Why?”
“No reason, really,” he replies in a final tone.
That man is simply unbearable and unreasonable!
Zhuang Nai Nai’s chest heaves heavily out of anger. She just got reprimanded by his employee because of the phone call that he made which broke the rule that he instated, and now this?!
“But I already promised someone else!” Zhuang Nai Nai angrily replies.
Before Si Zheng Ting even get to reply, Zhuang Nai Nai lowers her voice and whispers, “I am your wife, not your prisoner.”
Her voice is low and full of grievance.
That one sentence from her blocks all the incoming words that Si Zheng Ting was about to say.
He could just imagine Zhuang Nai Nai saying that, with a reluctant and aggrieved expression.
She is very rich in expression, she must be wrinkling her nose in distaste right now, looking so cute.
Si Zheng Ting’s mood inexplicably becomes better.

He remains quiet.
His silence made Zhuang Nai Nai very excited, “Then, that’s settled. You go home without me. Don’t forget to eat dinner. I will go home after dinner with Senior. See you at home!”
When she says ‘home’, the annoyance in Si Zheng Ting’s heart disappears.
