Zhuang Nai Nai and Si Zheng Ting originally plan to go for the medical check-up that morning, but their plan suddenly undergoes a change.
Si Zheng Ting receives a call from Director of Design, Mi Nuo during breakfast, “Sir, we have encountered a little trouble, could you possibly come to the office?”
What does it has anything to do with him if the Design Department encounters issues?
Si Zheng Ting narrows his eyes. Mi Nuo continues speaking, “I tried calling Miss Si, but she is not answering her phone, so…… Madam is waiting in the meeting room.”
Lady Ding is waiting in the meeting room?
After handing over Di Hao to him, she rarely interferes with the company.
She actually personally visits the company this time. Seems like something big has happened.
“En, I understand,” says Si Zheng Ting.
After ending the call, he turns to Zhuang Nai Nai, “Something suddenly comes up. You should go do the check-up first. Once you are done, Da Zhuang will send you to work.”
What is more important than medical check-up?
She does not ask him what the problem is, though.
After quickly finishing breakfast, both of them head over to the car. It is then that the housekeeper announces an arrival, “Sir, Mr. Shi is here.”
Si Zheng Ting stops for a moment when he hears that. Then, without turning around, he gently helps Zhuang Nai Nai get on the car, covering her head with his hand lest she accidentally bumps into the roof.
Then, he stands up straight, turning to Shi Jin Yan who is watching them near his own car.
Si Zheng Ting rolls his sleeves and elegantly walks over to Shi Jin Yan.
“Zheng Ting, Jing Yu…..”
Before Shi Jin Yan even finishes his sentence, Si Zheng Ting punches him in the face.
Shi Jin Yan staggers backwards before finding his footing once more. Blood is flowing from the corner of his lips. He spat them into the ground before turning to Si Zheng Ting again.
After hitting him, Si Zheng Ting rolls down his sleeves once again, “If you can’t make her happy, let go,” says him icily.
Then, he turns around and returns to the car.
Zhuang Nai Nai who is watching everything from inside the car finds this…… too cool!
Ever since she found out that Shi Jin Yan has been keeping a mistress, she has been having this itch to hit him.
Si Zheng Ting has looked so handsome and cool just now!
The journey to the hospital continues as Zhuang Nai Nai fangirls over Si Zheng Ting. Da Zhuang remains in the hospital with Zhuang Nai Nai while Si Zheng Ting left for the company first.
After taking a blood sample and everything else, the check up finally ends at 11 am.
On the way to the company, Zhuang Nai Nai receives a call from Mi Nuo, “Nai Nai, please go to Meeting Room 101 when you arrive.”
Why?
When she gets to the said meeting room, a grim-faced Ding Mengya awaits her, sitting next to an unreadable Si Zheng Ting.
She has no idea what is going on.
“Something has happened. Before we even get to release our new collection, Gu Enterprise released theirs. Their designs greatly resemble ours. We have come to the conclusion that someone had stolen the design and sell it to Gu Enterprise.”
