Chapter 325 The first to go in

The second day, the people who should come had come. Not only had the county sent 8 police officers, Director Qian who was responsible for the district also sent 4 comrades to help with the investigation.

At 8 am in the morning, the 12 people conducted a one-to-one interview with the school leaders, teachers and students to understand the situation.

The girls were timid and hadn’t seen this before! They were frightened by the 12 uniformed men who looked intimidating.

The boys were looking forward to it and were eager to answer the questions, but they only chose a few boys which included Guo Lei and the class monitor Hao Dong Min.

The two looked excited and the girls beside them felt like strangling them.

The other girls were hiding at the back, but Sun Ying was brave and stepped up, “What is there to be afraid of, I am going in first.” After speaking, Sun Ying went into the interrogation room which used to be the teachers’ office.

The one who was responsible for interrogating Sun Ying was Director Qian. After confirming Sun Ying’s identity, he took out a notepad and a pen, and started interrogating her.

“How were the victim’s grades?”

“Average in the class,” Sun Ying answered objectively.

The officer sitting opposite to her had dark skin and was sitting upright, he exuded an aura of justice. It was different from being interrogated by a teacher, this time she was helping the police to understand the case, Sun Ying felt a sense of pride.

“How was the victim’s behavior and character?”

“Quiet, didn’t speak much and liked to be alone.”

“How was her interaction with the teachers and other students?”

“She got along fine with everyone, and never had conflict with anyone.”

Director Qian was impressed by Sun Ying, she was not intimidated by him at all. Old Qian had served in the military for 8 years and had been in the battlefield. Even though he was discharged, he still carried the stern vibe of a military man. Besides, he had dark skin and when he was strict, even those in the police station were afraid of him.

But this girl was not afraid of him!

Her answers were also concise and to the point, which made him even more impressed.

“Did she have any interaction with anyone out of the school?” Old Qian asked a final question and continued watching Sun Ying.

Sun Ying immediately thought that she couldn’t mention her cousin. Even though he definitely did not have anything to do with Liu Wen Juan’s death, she couldn’t guarantee that Zhang Xiao Feng would not cause any trouble.

The lights flickered as Sun Ying hesitated briefly before answering, “We don’t live in the same dormitory, I am not familiar with her private circle.”

Old Qian noticed Sun Ying’s delayed response. He circled the last question on his notepad to mark that down.

His military instinct told him that there was something wrong with this place.

“That’s all, thank you for your cooperation. I have no other questions, you can leave now,” Old Qian stood up.

“You’re welcome, it’s what I should do,” Sun Ying smiled generously and left. She wanted to be the first to go in so that Zhang Xiao Feng wouldn’t become a suspect, but she didn’t know that her meticulous thought had been noticed by someone else.

Initially she wanted to say something about Zhang Yan Jie coming back late that night, but Liu Wen Juan died on the second day, the timeline didn’t align. Besides, Zhang Yan Jie said she only went to the toilet.

Old Qian knew that the last question would be key, but Sun Ying clearly didn’t want to say much.

The students were waiting anxiously outside. When they saw that Sun Ying came out fine, they sighed in relief.

Zhang Yan Jie was hiding at the back of the line. Her heart sank when she saw Sun Ying walking slowly towards her.
