That day, Xiao Tong walked home to Yun Feng’s house.
Yun Feng folded his arm and was irritated, “Xiao Tong, you missed our acting lesson. Where have you been?”
Yun Feng wanted to continue but keep it in his heart; do you know how worried I was.
“Ohh, I forgot. Sorry, I didn’t mean to skip our lesson,” Xiao Tong was busy for the whole day trying to catch the culprit and forgot about the lesson. Xiao Tong was tired.
Yun Feng saw that Xiao Tong in low spirits and decided not to pursue this matter anymore. He wondered what was happening to her and asked, “Xiao Tong, what matters with you? Mind to share?”
Unexpectedly, this mighty prince showed her concern. Xiao Tong doubted his sincerity.
“Nothing,” said Xiao Tong and walked to her room.
Yun Feng shouted, “Hey!” “Hey!”
Yun Feng squinted his eyes and pondered, “Something must have happened to her, and it’s bothering me.”
After a while, Yun Feng climbed the stairs and went to Xiao Tong’s room.
Knock. Knock.
There was no sound from inside. Yun Feng was worried, and hence, he opened the door.
No sight of Xiao Tong. However, he heard sounds from the bathroom.
Other than the water splashing sound, there was another faint voice; “wu~wu~”
Yun Feng was curious, and at the same time, he worried about Xiao Tong. Without hesitation, he went near the door and stuck his ears to the door. No wrong. Indeed it was Xiao Tong’s voice. She sounded in pain.
Not wasting time, Yun Feng quickly opened the door and asked worriedly in a high tone, “Xiao Tong, are you alright?”
A moment ago, Xiao Tong took a hot shower and caused the room to become steamy that she couldn’t see the surroundings clearly and accidentally stepped on a soap bar. As a result, she slipped and fell flat on the floor.
Xiao Tong was in pain and couldn’t move her body. She laid on the floor motionless and cried in pain, hoping somebody would notice.
Xiao Tong never thought that the one who noticed her was Yun Feng! She was embarrassed and ashamed. If Yun Feng rushed in, he will saw her in a naked state. Oh God! She prayed hard and promised God that she would be a better person. Five times better. No. Ten times better. No. Hundred times better! She closed her eyes and pretended to faint.
Thump. Thump. Xiao Tong’s heartbeat was speedy. She never felt this nervous before.
