Note: the story is still in the past tense. And even here we will have the pov of other members especially Jimin, Jin and Taehyung. Because Jeongukk is very close to these 3 only. The rest are just his hyungs.
TAEHYUNG’S POV:
Jeongukk, me and Jimin had become very good friends. We, actually became very close in very less time. We always had meals together at Jin hyung’s hotel. Hyung made food for us daily without fail and with Jeongukk’s mother teaching hyung some new dishes, we had new dishes to try every day. We became a family.
Days passed, months passed. We were nearing the end of our high school. Everybody was preparing for their exams. Jeongukk was very intelligent and he helped me and Jimin to study. One day one of our classmates, happened to ask him something.
“Jeon, are you engaged? Do you have any girlfriend or boyfriend maybe? I like you actually. You’re quite handsome and well natured. I have seen you with other students. But the way you behave around Taehyung and Jimin is very different. Do you have crush on either of them?” The boy asked and Jeongukk smiled looking at the ground.
“Why are you smiling?” The boy asked.
“You idiot. I knew everybody thought the same. But they are like my……” Jeongukk paused.
“…. my family. They are like my family. Don’t you say or spread anything stupid among the students. Just that they are special. I can’t lose either of them. That’s it.” Jeongukk sighed.
I was right behind him but he didn’t notice me thankfully. Actually I fell for him the moment I saw him. The reason behind me not replying to him was I was flustered. And I wanted to hide the blush that creeped on my cheeks. He looked so cute with those doe-eyes.
We were in class and I was lost in my own thoughts and that’s when….
“Where are you lost?” came a voice and I turned suddenly that I was just inches away from kissing Jeongukk.
“Umm.. I’m sorry. I was just scared. And nothing. I wasn’t thinking of anything.” I hurriedly moved back tripping backwards and falling on the floor.
Jeongukk laughed. My poor heart. Why did he have to be so cute? I have to tell Jimin about this. He can find out if Jeongukk already has somebody or if he is single.
After class I went to find Jimin. He was having a dance practise. He danced like an angel. His swift yet clear and pure smooth moves would make anyone fall for him.
“Chimmy, come here.” I called out to him and he ran towards me.
“Look, I think I am in love…..” I told him, making me widen his eyes. He quickly gulped down the water sip.
“Jeongukk?????” How did he know??
“Wait, what are you? A mind-reader?” I asked him and he shook his finger saying no.
“I have seen the way you become a cute cat in front or around him. I know how easily you get flustered around him. I have seen you. Come on, I am brother more than a friend. How many years have we known each other, Taehyung?” Jimin asked me.
He was right though. I agreed.
“What do I do?” I asked him.
“Tell him. And a piece of good news. I found out one thing for you. He is single. You gotta grab this chance.” Jimin told me making my heart beat like crazy on hearing he is single.
“Jeongukk, wait a little more baby.” I said to myself and smiled.
“That was evil, devil.” Jimin said and walked away for his practise leaving me in my imagination.
