Once Lazar and the other dragon4dragonspeciesioids left the cave to figure out their way of life, a quest notification appeared in front of KMega.

He wanted a casual and stress-free playthrough this time.
After picking up some quests, KMega met up with his companions. From there, they left the city. It took a while before they were finally able to escape the view of other players.
“We finally have a moment to ourselves!”
KMega smiled after Kieser’s comment before responding, “It’s to be expected on day one. I just hope nothing happens to the other.”
Astrid7Astridcharacter then stepped forward and happily grabbed KMega’s hand before saying, “They’ll be fine! I’m just mad that you had to die to those noobs.”
KMega smiled for a moment as he glanced at her flushed face before turning to Yirk and saying, “Yirk, I took several quests. Do you want to watch over Kieser as Astrid and I gather herbs?” Yirk looked over at Kieser before nodding, “If that is what he wants.”
Kieser gripped his starting sword’s grip, ready to go.
“Well then, tell me what I have to hunt, big brother.”
KMega nodded as he handed him the list.

After a few hours of gaming, KMega left his VR pod and walked over to his computer.
He then began his after stream Q&A session. Astrid walked out from the background to join his side to help him with the more technical questions and to be close to him.
The Q&A session went on for about an hour before KMega turned off the stream and got ready for his end of day routine. Astrid leaned over and gave him a quick peck on the cheek, making his face go red. “You’re still such a shy child!” KMega smiled at her teasing.
“So, what is the progress?” Astrid paused for a moment before responding.
She was making sure the room was secure while updating her main consciousness.
“Right now, the skin is about seventy percent to what could be called real. I believe that is the limit with current technology. Muscle, fat, and various organs are about half that. Bone swapping and blood are in the final stages and are able to go to the trial phase. As for the neural network…” She paused before looking away, so KMega grabbed her hand as she continued, “ Even if only my brain and spine are all that are left, I will survive a hundred years at least. Even if you need to invent the tech to make the tech.”
Astrid nodded as she understood that he was still youthful and in good shape.
“Kieser, assimilation is about half done. He is taking to the chief of security duties. He and the others do not really care about the game now that they are in this world. Yirk is researching space technology; mainly energy shields and weapon systems. Lazar is head of HR. That’s ironic, to say the least.”
KMega smirked with a chuckle as he responded, “It is. What about Berry?”
Astrid shook her head.
“She’s doing her own thing with Emma and Luke. Though, she is studying this world’s religions and contemplating something. This is from all the questions she asks me.”
KMega thought about that for a moment before sighing, “Well, let’s go out tonight.”
Astrid grabbed his hand that was still holding hers with her other and smiled. “Oh, a date! That reminds me; the progress on our ‘private’ project is running smoothly. The hiring of ‘workers’ in that industry went with an almost 2/3rd success rate.”
KMega knew that she was talking about ‘working women’ in countries legally hired to have sensors in spots while they worked so Astrid would feel like a real woman when the time comes.
