The next items in the auction was a D-grade combat gear set, a C-grade combat sword, and a D-grade combat shield. Jodye Trill and the others were not the least bit interested in these items. Jodye already had a mystic wand, the Vajra Scepter, and a lower B-grade Scarlet Magic Sword. Not to mention his A-grade Baleful Glaive and B-grade Evening Trickster30Trickstermonster clan beast with third rank lifeblood. when a level 9 vicious beast with god beast lifeblood reaches level 10 they evolve into low-level demi-god beasts possessing superior intelligence without their own complete demi-god physique. Due to their frail forms, they use their lifeblood powers to condense a cocoon or origin qi that takes on the form of other beasts. Tricksters fight to obtain the ‘life force’ required to condense a monster core by condensing enough god beast lifeblood. Condensing the monster core allows the trickster to upgrade its physique to that of one closer to a god beast and cultivate different lifeblood inheritances. Vicious beasts with a hint of origin god beast bloodline in them merely become higher level tricksters upon evolution, with a more complete true form. Tricksters are only born through the evolution of a vicious beast. Injuries received by tricksters in their true forms risk reducing their level since they must burn their lifeblood essence to recover and transform again. Level 1 Trickster = 1,000 BP Level 2 Trickster = 1,250 BP Level 3 Trickster = 1,600 BP Level 4 Trickster = 2 AP Level 5 Trickster = 4.5 AP Level 6 Trickster = 9 AP Level 7 Trickster = 14 AP Level 8 Trickster = 21 AP Level 9 Trickster = 30 AP Armor, neither of which he had used yet out of fear of them being recognized. After all, White Serpent Cove was rather famous in the south. As for the others, one was an alchemist, and the other was a blacksmith. Neither of them lacked combat gear.
However, to these School Deans and Minor House Lords, combat gear above the D-grade was very tempting for varied reasons. They could reward some outstanding disciple40discipleone who accepts the knowledge of and assists in spreading the doctrines of another, taking them as a master.s, which would motivate more competitions in their respective powers. This conventional approach to cultivating warriors was utilized by many families and sects.
Soon, another ardent struggle begins, as D-grade combat gears could be considered rare below the mage ranks. Typically, only Mages or those approaching the void realms could afford to coerce a refiner into making or selling one.
Jodye took in a deep breath. He realized how expensive quality combat gear would be. Gear Refiners were probably absolutely loaded no matter where they went! A Gear Refiner would be respected anywhere that there were warriors. Jodye glanced at Joovee Nile and seemed to see a smirk in his eyes as their gazes locked.
“This is a rich young master!” Jodye Trill lamented in his heart. Joovee Nile was a Gear Refiner, someone who could refine incredible and excellent equipment. Refining combat gear was easy for him. In addition to his reputation, his refined stuff would only sell for more.
Jodye suddenly felt that the wealth he currently possessed, in the face of these two tycoons, was absolutely nothing. Joovee Nile, just by selling the mask on his face would make more wealth than what Jodye had seen over his two lives. This auction was merely a low-level one then. After all, the Purple-Sky Clan was only a third rank power.
“Big bro Joovee, how long does it take for you to refine a D-grade combat gear?” asked Jodye Trill out of curiosity. He prepared his heart for the impact of the response.
“I think the most time it would take shouldn’t exceed a week, and my fastest speed is one day! However, I haven’t refined any since I reached the B-grade,” replied the cold voice of Joovee Nile casually. Jodye had prepared his heart but still took quite the blow from this news.
“In Joovee’s organization, there are six amazing blacksmiths, and most public orders are taken by them,” Sigma Octanis explained to Jodye patiently. “The Neofrost Master only refines High C-grade combat gear or better. He’s aiming to reach the Grand Refiner stage before he turns 30 years old.”
“Tsk, 30 years old? Try 22 years old, at the most!” snapped Joovee Nile.
Thinking of the dreadful wealth that this Joovee Nile commanded on the surface, as well as the doubtless suspicious activities in the shadows, Jodye felt dreadful. He glanced at the surrounding V.I.P. Boxes and clenched his fists. The young sage would likely have to rely on these two rich bastards after all. However, Jodye vowed to surpass these deans and House Lords one day!
In front of these tycoons, Jodye Trill was merely an ant. He never felt very discouraged by anyone being stronger than himself, as given enough time he would be a monstrous Titan. However, in his previous world wealth was the ultimate form of power! With great wealth nearly anything was possible. Thus, one thing Jodye refused to accept was being without wealth. He desired to be the wealthiest by a wide margin! This was a remnant desire from his previous lifetime.
“If I could refine powerful pills, even Joovee Nile would need to curry favor with me,” thought Jodye privately. Every expert needed cultivation resources at some point, not everyone was a genius like Jodye Trill, who had yet to experience any bottlenecks on his Sage and Saint paths. “Plus, now that I survived the lightning judgment, I’m an Earth Scientist. Not only that, my Cosmic Vision Scripture has reached the perfected level of the Murderous Sight Stage. If I’m smart, then I should be able to take down even a new Void Door realm Sage, like big bro Joovee. If he weren’t Lily’s brother, I wouldn’t have hesitated to use the yang source, calamity beam!”
In reality, Jodye hadn’t dared to use the calamity beam, as he had never done so before. Calamity qi wasn’t as easy to use as serenity qi. Serenity qi required a calm mind, free of emotion and distraction. As a former assassin, Jodye found it very easy to achieve this state of mind. However, calamity force required a very active mind, free of inhibition and wild in nature. Jodye knew from Jupiter’s experiences that the first few times he used the calamity source beam he could possibly go blind due to its power. Yang qi was highly volatile, so controlling it was imperative. To use this attack, he had to let his soul go feral.
Jodye would have to find some time to practice this new ability before he could use it freely.
“Anyway, now that I’m an Earth Scientist, I wonder if I can produce a master flame?” wondered Jodye Trill as the bidding continued without himself. Producing a master flame required extensive knowledge of fire qi and high compatibility with dual heavenly energies. Jupiter had relied on his understanding of both astral and divine qi to produce his first master flame, but he was immediately gifted with a sky flame after this accomplishment was announced. The best time to merge with a sky flame was after creating a nascent level master flame. Thus, neither Jodye nor Jupiter himself knew the limits of his master flame before it fused with the sky flame.
“If only Sly were here, then I could… I could… wait…” glancing at the open window, Jodye Trill’s entire body suddenly shook. In a flash of purple light, the [Cosmos Revolving Grimoire] appeared in front of him, the ouroboros on the cover emitting a mystical glow.
[Source Artifact detected]“That is!” Joovee Nile suddenly jumped up from his seat, highly irritated, which drew everyone’s attention. Following his line of sight, everyone noticed the heavenly grimoire that was now floating in front of the young man who seemed to be peering into its secrets without having to open it. Joovee Nile was inwardly astounded as he exclaimed privately, “So it was exactly like I thought before! I can’t believe he actually possesses a heavenly grimoire as well! This is the first time I’ve seen another person who had one. Perhaps he and I are fated after all.”
Meanwhile, Jodye was totally unaware of this as he communicated his questions with the [Cosmos Revolving Grimoire]. This was mainly because his eyes were glued to a particular location, forcing him to be unable to think of anything else but communicating with his grimoire. Five feet in front of Jodye, sitting on the balcony window ledge, was a small blue creature with four wings. The facial features of this creature were indistinguishable, but it gave off a beautiful feeling.
Jodye was shocked because he just realized that by entering the Earth Science Realm, he had reached a level where his innate combat sparks would awaken further. No sooner than he realized this, he saw this creature and recognized two significant sensations that he hadn’t noticed previously. Then, the [Cosmos Revolving Grimoire] summoned itself to his side.
“So that’s what it is…” Jodye Trill sighed in relief. With a thought, Jodye’s current information appeared in his mind.

“I can… I can see pixies! I can see the pixies now!” Jodye Trill was terribly excited. The Pixies had allowed him to perceive their existence, just like Xavier had told him might happen if he was lucky. This was obviously thanks to X doing his own introduction back in Dark Cave. Jodye felt a familiar vibration coming from the Pixie in front of him. Doubtless, it had followed him since that time. Perhaps, it had followed him even before that. Jodye Trill had a body that contained three divine sparks. He finally reached the level where he could give these powers form! This was what Sylvester had meant when he constantly berated Jodye as being weak.
Before the Earth Science Realm, he couldn’t even access his advantage at all!
Combat Soul abilities were separated into two components: Innate and Auxiliary. Innate abilities were the aspect of the talent that could be manifested outside of the body, while auxiliary was the aspect of the talent that manifested within the body. Due to Jodye choosing to synchronize with his combat souls, their abilities were written into his bloodline directly, becoming bloodline limits, or innate abilities that were activated through the use of lifeblood. The more powerful one’s lifeblood was, the more powerful their bloodline limit would be.
Jodye’s first Divine Spark17Divine Sparka special divine ability was the Devouring Space Flame. This was due to the influence of Sylvester’s soul on his own soul and bloodline. The heavenly grimoire helped him understand that this was his very own nirvana flame!
However, to awaken it he would have to experience the first of nine nirvana cleansings. Merely, Jodye simply didn’t fear this whatever cleansing, he had already survived the wrath of the heavens. Besides, his body had already been cleansed by the Sky Fall Flame43Sky Fall Flamethe nirvanic flame of Sylvester Tricko, inherited from his mother who is an Infinity Black Phoenix. This nirvana flame has perfect yin and yang harmony and is fused with Sylvester's soul. on more than one occasion. In Jodye’s opinion, this was likely the reason he could survive the tribulation at all. However, what he didn’t realize was that it was also the reason he even had to suffer heavenly tribulation in the first place.
As for his second Divine Spark, it was called Holy Catastrophe Sword Might. Jodye didn’t need a concept because his understanding of this power was within his divine spark, which was hidden within the combat seed in his origin pool. He had suddenly become aware that his natural pure force comprehension was also a result of his divine spark. His pure qi would eventually evolve into holy qi and then Fate qi. Additionally, it would give birth to sword qi, and even calamity qi.
However, Jodye had already comprehended Calamity qi on his own. He also intended to produce a master fire force genesis on his own, using the calamity force genesis and origin energy as the source and astral essence as the catalyst. Although his astral essence wasn’t powerful enough to be the source of the master flame, it could improve the foundation.
“First I’ll produce the Big Wimp Pellets, then I’ll produce a master flame. Afterward, I’ll initiate my nirvanic cleansing while refining the Big Wimp Pellets. Once I fuse my Devouring Space Flame with my Master Flame Genesis, I’ll rename it as the Sky Fall Flame!”
The nirvana flame sleeping within him was an agglomeration of the laws recorded within the soul and bloodline of the Cosmos Devouring Sky Wolf in addition to the Sky Fall Flame that was fused with Prince Tricko’s soul. It was basically a Sky Fall Flame seed, just like Sylvester’s flame was the seed left by his mother’s nirvana fire. A devouring fire on par with the devouring laws of the World Devouring Sky Wolf and by extension the ancient Heaven Devouring Demon Beast. This was a truly terrifying creature from the beginning of the universe.
“Undergoing nirvana should also purify my body right?” thought Jodye to himself. “In that case, it is indeed best that I wait until I break through to the eleventh level of the Titanic Path’s Wimpy Man Realm before undergoing my nirvana. At that time, I should be able to open up an astral gate and refine it into a stargate with more ease…”
Jodye Trill had his plans, all he needed was the proper materials now. He would get his uncle Sigma to help him produce a master flame and start making C-grade qi pills!
During the time Jodye was lost in his thoughts, a few other items were auctioned off. This included many combat gears, either weapons or armors. Most of the things were rather low priced, the highest priced item that sold was a C-grade combat gear that sold for a whopping 60 million silver crystal notes.
“Uncle Sigma, what’s the market price on combat gear at the C-grade?” asked Jodye, a bit confused.
“I would say around 40 million,” replied Uncle Sigma as he took another sip of tea. The servants who fled earlier had yet to return, making Sigma have to drink conservatively in the meanwhile.
“40 million silver!” After hearing this number, Jodye was shocked and uncomfortable. A C-grade Magic Life qi pill could be purchased for a mere amethyst crystal note. This was already a difference of forty times, that was outrageous! This made the aspiring alchemy master, Jodye Trill, somewhat depressed. Why did combat gear sell for so much? Luckily, he would be able to refine weapons as well. Well, at least he planned to do so eventually.
Seeing the despondent look on Jodye’s face, Sigma seemed to guess at his thoughts, explaining patiently, “Little Jupiter, qi pills are different from combat gear. Qi pills, once bought, will quickly be consumed to elevate strength. However, combat gear will stay with a warrior for a long time. Great combat gear can save your life in a desperate situation even more so than a qi pill that may give you a second life! Why? Because what does healing yourself matter, if you can just be killed by the opponent afterward? Combat gears provide prestige, increases the stats by a lot, and it looks cool too. That’s why common grade but unique combat gear will often fetch a greater price than common spirit or qi pills. In these kinds of secret fairs, low-level spirit or qi orbs rarely appear, as such things are even rarer than the high-level combat gear. However, high-level materials often appear towards the end for alchemists to compete over.”
Jodye Trill nodded at his words. If an alchemy master were able to refine qi orbs, the price would definitely reflect this. For a Pill King to become an Orb King, he would waste many precious materials, but he would also create spirit and qi orbs that pill kings could never compete with.
The next item auctioned was actually the middle C-grade combat gear set the Blackheart Bow and Arrows. This combat gear set immediately triggered another wave of fierce bidding.
“The starting price is one million silver crystal notes!” After introducing the Blackheart Bow and Arrow set, Vanessa Purple-Sky called out the starting bid. However, she had barely finished speaking before a voice thundered out a bid.
“2 million silver!” said a short and ugly old man with crooked teeth who looked like death, in one of the V.I.P. Booths.
“That’s Roger Flankz, a vice-sect master of White Serpent Cove. He’s one level above that Oulan Mercy,” Sigma Octanis was informing Jodye of some influential people, as he felt the boy should know their enemies and friends distinctly. “Next to him is his senior, the strongest vice-sect master, Garuda. Garuda himself is a truly dangerous individual, believe me. Over there is Erikah Maat, a good friend of mine. He hails from the North Ward’s Divine Bird Country. They have extremely vast resources. I’m certain that he’s only interested in the final item, or he’s simply here to give the Purple-Sky clan face. He wouldn’t even be in the South Ward if I didn’t invite him for our operation.”
“2.3 Million!” this was the Dean of Heaven Fighter Academy in the South Ward, Shen Linglong.
“2.5 Million!” an eccentric tycoon named Francis Dirt, who had purchased an item previously.
Many more people continued to join in on the fun. Before long the amount had already reached 12 million!
“20 million,” came a majestic and powerful voice, that Jodye was shocked to find came from right next to himself. The surroundings flew into an uproar.
“That’s the eighteenth star!”
“I’ve heard of him! They call him the heavenly wolf, right?”
At that moment, Jodye was speechlessly staring at Sigma Octanis, who looked down and spoke to him, “I suddenly realized that this combat gear set would be perfect for my disciple.”
Bilan and Miran Moon’s eyes both flashed with a favorable light. Perhaps this Sigma Octanis wasn’t as bad as they thought. Jodye Trill simply didn’t know where to begin. He wondered how Aiken would feel if he received this combat gear set as a gift from his master. Suddenly, Jodye was looking forward to it. After all, he had already found the boy’s sister, what was a small prank?
“Do you truly admire this bow and arrow set?” asked Joovee Nile suddenly. Jodye and Sigma both looked over, and Sigma nodded. Joovee sneered and said, “I will refine you another one for the brat, then. Just find the materials for me. This set was made when I was 15-years-old. It’s far too old school.”
A light bulb suddenly went off in Jodye’s head, as he loudly exclaimed suddenly, causing those who knew him to look at him in confusion, “What?! Did the Master Gear Refiner, NeoFrost Master, just admit to refining this set?!”
“What did that brat just say?”
“Hey look! That is indeed the Neofrost mask! It is the Neofrost Master!”
“Prince Joovee, over here! I love you!”
The crowd was sent into an uproar again, as Vanessa Purple-Sky seized the opportunity to increase the revenue. Her voice was dreamy and light as she hypnotized the crowd, “Ladies and gentlemen today the mystery has been solved! This combat gear set is actually one of the hidden projects of the famous Neofrost Master! Which means that you guys are lucky to be getting it so cheap! Ah, if only I had known…”
“I’ll do 24 million!”
“25 million!”
“30 million silver!” called out Sigma Octanis enthusiastically, drawing stares from the entire auction hall, “What? It’s now a collector’s item, right? Must buy, must buy.”
“I’ll take it for 40 million silver!” called out a familiar voice from below.
“Martial-aunt Blu, Ah!” exclaimed Bilan Moon, moving next to Jodye at the balcony. She rushed to peer over and almost fell, but the pixie caught her shirt and handed it to Jodye, who casually pulled her back up. To the ones behind him, it seemed like he had used some kind of suction force to catch her!
Hearing this exuberant voice, Vanessa Purple-Sky quickly shouted, “40 million silver going once… 40 million silver going twice… sold, to the mistress in the front!”
“Hehehehehe…” Jodye Trill had an evil gleam in his eye as he laughed to himself.
“Are you okay, young noble Trill?” asked Bilan Moon from next to him.
“Eh?” Jodye Trill seemed to become aware of his posture again, “ahem. I was merely happy to have profited so much today.”
“Profited?” asked Bilan Moon confused. How does he profit from her martial-aunt purchasing combat gear? It would make more sense if he were fearful, but he was amused?
However, moments later her doubts were answered as one of the previous servant girls shyly walked into the room, this time walking directly to Jodye Trill, “Here are your earnings, young master Jupiter. 40 Million silver crystal notes, minus 8%.”
Jodye Trill received the jade box in the girl’s hand which he opened to find 36,800 gold crystal notes! This brought his grand total to 588,000 gold crystal notes.
“Rich, I’m rich…” Jodye Trill felt it hard to breathe at this moment. Even if he wasn’t a wealthy tycoon like the two masters behind him, he was still very rich by now. After all, he had basically taken all of his current assets with his own hands. This gave the young sage a sense of accomplishment.
“Kid, you were the one who put those weapons up to auction?” Joovee Nile asked, prompting Jodye to tell the story of saving Aiken Moon’s ass again. Seeing Jodye tell his companion this story in the exact same way he had told herself a second time, it only made Bilan Moon’s faith in him grow. Especially once she associated that bow as the one used to sneak attack Jodye in the story.
Even Aunt Miran found Jodye a bit less displeasing after listening to this tale. After hearing the explanation, Joovee Nile laughed loudly, before lowering his voice once more with a devilish light in his eyes, “Well, hot damn! Looks like you exploited this young master quite well, no? It would seem I deserve a cut! Give me 80%, and we’ll call it even.”
“I’m afraid that would be against my best interests,” shrugged Jodye Trill nonchalantly, causing Joovee Nile to pause, his eyes becoming a little gloomy. Joovee suddenly felt as if he would be played to no end by this brat Jodye if he tried to muscle the latter.
“You, brat, were you really planning on letting this old dog bark my fortune away on you?” Uncle Sigma placed Jodye in a headlock and ruffled his hair up aggressively.
After escaping this unexpected assault, Jodye turned his attention back to the auction stage, his eyes growing wide.
“Is it really here? Finally!” Jodye Trill was incomparably excited.
“Next, we are going to auction a rare original material called the Hollywood Angel. This plant is bizarre, as the stalk resembles a beautiful woman and contains very potent wood essence,” Vanessa Purple-Sky was actually in a good rhythm as the new host. She had the crowd hanging off her every word, and her voice even had some extra charm to it now, “The six large leaves on each side of the Hollywood Angel resemble angelic wings and contain potent pure essence. This 1,000-year-old, B-grade, pure herb is one of the main ingredients for some rare spirit qi pills, such as the Longevity Pill and the Heaven’s Ascension Pill!”
1,000-year-old, B-grade, Hollywood Angel!
“An ingredient with potent wood essence and pure essence,” Jodye Trill was filled with joy. “If I secure this Hollywood Angel pure herb, I would only be lacking a source of potent star qi as the other main ingredient. Hmm, it would be best for that to also be of the B-grade. If it’s C-grade, it would have to be at least 10,000-years-old…”
Vanessa Purple-Sky went on to explain the usefulness of the Hollywood Angel, and other essential details giving this item all the gas she could, before shouting, “Upset is 1 million silver crystal coins!”
“A novelty item. Only the eccentrics and old hustlers would buy this material,” chided Aunt Miran casually.
“Why do you say so auntie?” asked Bilan Moon innocently.
“A longevity pill does exactly as its name implies, it prolongs the life of those who consume it,” explained Aunt Miran softly, “However, doing so would cut off their dao potential. Heaven’s Ascension pills are a bit better in that they can help a saint path warrior at the peak of the True Saint Realm ascend to the Heaven’s Master Realm. However, without the proper comprehensions, they will never achieve anything further this realm.”
“Merely, if they possess the capacity for those comprehensions, they would not need such a qi essence pill at all!” a brilliant light shone in Bilan Moon’s eyes.
“It is indeed so, my sweet niece.” Aunt Miran was impressed and pleased. “These longevity pills and even the heaven’s ascension pills are wastes that only the incapable would consume. Truly talented geniuses wouldn’t require such potential ruining pills. Alchemists who refine these pills are all money hungry, or perhaps it is by special request from some old tycoon. Who doesn’t fear death? It is perfectly normal.”
Jodye was shocked to find that this annoying old lady was right, no one had actually wanted to bid! They had heard Vanessa’s explanation, and the usefulness of this material was specialized and limited. Since it was only of the B-grade, the truly old and dying tycoons simply had no use for it. Spending a million gold for such an item?
Pass.
“1.1 million silver!” Jodye Trill used an indifferent and low spirited voice to call out, hoping to give off the impression of someone bidding out of boredom.
Vanessa Purple-Sky smiled wryly while glancing at private box number seven. Was this still considered giving herself face? “1.1 million silver going once.”
“30 million silver crystal notes,” came the elderly voice of a black-robed figure in Private Box Number 204. At the same time, a true essence sound transmission reached Jodye’s ear, “Do not play with me, young man. This item is mine. You will withdraw, and you will get your guard dogs to withdraw as well!”
Jodye’s face twitched slightly.
The auction hall was suddenly full of murmurs of intrigued. This was a rather big jump! This old tycoon clearly wanted to let the young pup know to stay in his place. This was a big boy’s game! Sigma Octanis stroked his chin and was considered what his bid should be. How could he let his apprentice26apprenticeAn apprentice or student is someone who is learning something from a teacher. While the relation is sacred, and there are mutual obligations between the apprentice and the teacher, there is no commitment between them. A disciple, on the other hand, has committed himself to the master, and the art of his master. The disciple has committed to entering and mastering a secret branch of knowledge and has requested the master to accept him into the arcane path. The relationship is very sacred and the obligations are binding. suffer insult?
“50 million silver crystal notes,” Jodye Trill’s voice was utterly indifferent as he called out an exorbitant amount. Jodye actually only had about 10 million silver crystal notes. However, he had enough gold to make up the difference three times over. Sigma and Joovee Nile were both shocked, before remembering the previously auctioned items. It seemed the kid was bold enough to risk it all for something he wanted.
“You dare!” the booming voice of an old demon suddenly echoed through Jodye’s mind, making him cough out blood. Seeing this, both Sigma Octanis and Joovee Nile stood up, and original pressure instantly shrouded the auction hall.
“Private Box Number 7, what is the meaning of this,” came the voice of a handsome middle-aged man with long silver hair who appeared from backstage.
“Why don’t you take off that hood and show me who is it that dares to threaten and harm this seat’s apprentice,” Sigma Octanis was condensing qi in his hand as he locked his perception on to the black-robed figure in Private Box Number 204. Joovee Nile was also entirely locked-on for the target, ready to ruin the entire show if need be.
“Do you think I fear a half-ass alliance like you two?” Crash Bandit sneered as he asked, “Neofrost, if you and your junior join me up here, then I can forget about this item. I will even take him as a disciple. His future will be far brighter, I will discipline him properly every night.”
“Old Man Crash Bandit, this is your first and only warning. If you or anyone here dares to attack or threaten our customers in this Winter Winds City, the Purple-Sky Clan will show no mercy in dealing with them!” A majestic voice suddenly thundered throughout the entire hall.
“This one wouldn’t dare, milord,” said old man Crash Bandit, “I am merely trying to warn those who would play around on your grand stage of the consequences such actions bring. It was just a lesson, milord, a lesson.”
“Our guests in Private Box Number 7 have given us zero reasons to believe they can not support a mere 50 million silver crystal notes,” the majestic voice echoed through the hall once more. “Withdraw your prejudice, or we will act against you.”
“I do not dare, I do not dare,” said old man Crash Bandit calmly. However, he clearly didn’t put the threats of the Purple-Sky Clan in his heart.
“Old Villain Crash Bandit is as wild as ever. Do White Serpent Cove think they run the city now?”
“They have grown more active in this area lately. Do you think they have their eyes on our Winter Winds City?”
“Those nobles sects and houses are fighting, what difference does it make to us? Let’s just watch the show.”
“If that kid wants to live past tomorrow, he should withdraw from this item.”
“But isn’t that the same box as two masters? I don’t think he should be too disadvantaged in such a situation.”
“Oh yeah? The strength of others is ultimately not your own strength. What if they somehow get him away from his protectors? The kid’s toast.”
Everyone in the crowd had their own take on the situation. Crash Bandit’s strong-armed approach had displeased many people and disrupted the flow of the auction.
“Crash Bandit? I know him,” the Neofrost Master, Joovee Nile, was well connected in the underground circuits. He spoke his intelligence to Jodye Trill directly, “He’s a Voodoo Priest. That’s what they call those Saints who dual cultivate death origin powers. The scariest thing about him is his Saint cultivation, it’s at the peak of the Sociopath rank of Heaven’s Master Realm. It would take at least 1,900 BP to kill him if he didn’t raise any defenses. It’s already impressive that you would survive a soul attack from him.”
“I will kill him,” Jodye Trill wiped the blood from his mouth with a handkerchief that Bilan had given him. His rage was bubbling within his gut, and his Endless Carnage Force Concept was activated. Slaughter qi swam through Jodye’s blood and veins, merging into his flesh. His smooth and supple brown skin was releasing a pale red glow, as qi steam was emerging from his muscles. “I will definitely kill that man! I will shred him into pieces and then burn him away into nothing.”
Bilan Moon stood right next to Jodye and covered her little mouth and dared not breath. Although the current Jodye Trill was a bit scary, it left Bilan excited. She didn’t understand this feeling and subconsciously retreated.
Meanwhile, Aunt Miran was startled as she hadn’t even noticed when her niece disappeared from her side, and that same niece was already attending to Jodye like a little wife. When she noticed Jodye’s aura she suddenly frowned, “Wait a damn second… when did this brat reach the Earth Science Realm? Or was this his original strength all along? Does that Neofrost Master have just unique gear?”
“Hahaha, good, good.” Joovee Nile laughed aloud and patted Jodye’s shoulder while repeating the word good. He saw Jodye’s state and presumed that the previous attack had angered the boy so much that it may have awakened a bloodline limit. Most sages would possess a bloodline limit, this was not unusual at all. “This is the way I expect my little brother to be. Pay close attention to your current state, understand it as much as you can.”
“This can be considered benefitting from misfortune,” Sigma Octanis had also calmed down after confirming the identity of Crash Bandit. This man was an Honored Elder of White Serpent Cove. Sigma was truly fed up with this group. He was currently scrutinizing Jodye’s body with his spiritual awareness. After observing the slaughter qi fusing into Jodye’s body on his own, Sigma came to the same conclusion as Joovee Nile. However, Jodye’s current state couldn’t help but make Sigma feel some nostalgia for some reason.
What was it similar too?
“I will leave him alive for you to kill, then,” Joovee Nile made a mental note to poison Crash Bandit after beating him up, and then he would let the matter rest at that.
