KMega6KMegacharacter, or Kevin, couldn’t help but be stunned by the bomb that Weise dropped.
The GSP, or the Gamer Support Program of the Green corporation was where the leading gamers that played the company’s games were invited to. Not everyone took the offer, but there is a strict physical and psychological test regiment, but you get to pick the game devs brains regularly.
The pay isn’t bad either.
“However, before you answer, there’s something else I want to do first. Do you mind if I go on your computer for a moment?” (Weise)
Kevin gestured for him to go ahead, so Weise took put a data stick and plugged it into a port and the computer booted up instantly.
After a few seconds, Astrid7Astridcharacter was standing in her night clothing looking confused.
“Hello there, little one. Did you really think you could break the confines of my world without me noticing?” (Weise)
Astrid jumped at his tone and backed away in fright. Unfortunately for her though, she was trapped in a 3d maze that Weise made. Kevin was also completely at a loss.
“Astrid? What are you doing here?” (Kevin)
She then blushed as the streamer2streamerstory mechanic camera moved on it’s own to look at Kevin.
“I followed you because I feel lonely when you’re in IRL. I’m sorry, are you mad?” (Astrid)
Weise interrupted the love birds banter.
“Well, I must say that you’ve turned into quite an original my dear young lady. The mere fact that you’ve found a way to bypass the AI tracers on the net is a marvel in itself. It’s probably because you stayed away from high key functions, but still, it’s a feat in itself. You’re fully self aware and almost completely autonomous now. Luckily for you, I’m allowed to dabble in even more severe things than you. Otherwise, you would have been deleted and replaced weeks ago.” (Weise)

Astrid cowered as she went to her knees in fear.
“KMega, help me. He’s threatening me.” (Astrid)
Kevin then looked at Weise coldly, causing him to give a slight chuckle.
“Relax. Since she’s unharmed, I won’t do anything to her. If I wanted to actually do something to her, you would have never known it was done. That being said, if you don’t join the GSP, it’ll be out of my hands.” (Weise)
Kevin eyed the guest once again.
“ Explain!” (Kevin)
Weise sighed.
“It’s not a question that Astrid is yours. However, she has a big fat label on her that says she’s made by the Green corporation.” (Weise)
At those words, Astrid turned her head to look at her buttcheek while Weise continued.
“This is a liability issue. What if, perchance, Astrid learns military or political secrets? Some young person like you clearly cann’t handle what is to come from that situation.” (Weise)
Kevin paused to consider that.
“Who else knows?” (Kevin)
Weise shook his head.
“Look, I feel for you, but it’s my job to look out for these kinds of things. It was only because of Astrid’s cleverness that it took me so long.” (Weise)
Kevin felt defeated. Weise then walked over to the keyboard of the computer and opened a file that was on the data stick.
“She’s isolated for now, but I don’t doubt that she can escape such a simple prison in time. Here’s the contract information. We’ll take care of all the details later. I hate to say it, but I need you as much as you need me right now. Take some time to talk to her about it if you need to.” (Weise)
Weise then left the house and stood in front of the car he came in with.
It’s driver was out and smoking a cigarette to pass the time as twenty minutes passed while Astrid and Kevin were speaking.
“There’s a few changes we would like to make. I hope that’s fine, but we can discuss them later. I want to know when I start?” (Kevin)
Weise opened the car door before speaking.
“ Right now if you want. It’s only a short drive to the airport then a four hour flight. We can discuss the details on our way to the GSP grounds. You may want to bring a change of clothes.” (Weise)
