It didn’t take long for the village to figure out who KMega6KMegacharacter was. The first clue was the sword that he pulled out of the bear’s eye before giving the priest the corpse so his superiors can examine it. When the villagers took note of the sigil of a green dragon4dragonspeciess eye on the hilt, they instantly knew who it was. Astrid7Astridcharacter made the coat of arms for him when she learned he had become a noble, while the small eye looked a lot like he did when he was under dragon rage during the tournament. Ever seen then, he’s felt urges that he didn’t normally have. He experienced these urges around Astrid, but his brutally increased as well when he hunted. He felt superior to inferior beasts and sometimes desired to eat them raw.
The messenger relayed what happened to KMega at Jork Fortress, so Astird appeared within a day to help. When she saw the demon, she instantly turned hostile towards it. After seeing KMega containing the evil aura though, she was relieved. To pass the time, they talked or played some tactical board games that KMega never won. When they became tired, they talked for a little bit before Astrid started singing in dragon tongue. When the other villagers left, Astrid explained the songs to KMega. The most popular of them sounded like a tale of heroism to the villagers, but it was actually about a young elder dragon trying to sell off his three sisters into slavery before getting sold off instead.
The contingent of soldiers that came with Astrid went with the priest and priestess to purify the land. While they were travelling, they fought monsters and investigated where the spy went and where others could be. Out of respect, nobody argued Astrid’s orders since she ran the fort more than KMega did.
By the time the bishop arrived, he was rather surprised after seeing KMega trapped in the holy ward before he saw the demonic beast behind him.
He then walked over to the ward and started suppressing the evil influence of the beast.
“I see.” (Bishop)
The bishop said to himself with a smirk.
“You have made great sacrifices noble hero blessed by the gods.” (Bishop)
The bishop then put his hands together in prayer and the priest and priestess did so as well.
The sky soon cleared and the sun in the area started to shine brighter. The demon’s body seemed to disintegrate as KMega just stood there. He was in the same pose as the three holy figures, but due to his personal beliefs, he didn’t pray. That was enough though.
