Jihun, a young 17 year old boy hailing from South Korea, is an absolute nobody. He comes from a poor family consisting of himself, his mother and his father who works endlessly just to provide for them so they can survive. So once Jihun could get a part time job, he did, and he sold all his belongings and gave the money to his parents and then moved out to a small broken down apartment which he could afford in Seoul.

All though Jihun is a nobody from a poor family, he is one of the few rare people called Rankers. Rankers are people who awoke latent abilities and became extremely powerful and influential. The families of these Rankers that formed became noble bloodlines that were referred to as Royals who decided a countries power alongisde other Rankers.

One day after returning back to his apartment, Jihun gets a letter from a special institution, Seoul's Ranker Academy. With the help of a powerful man he saved and his unyielding dedication, Jihun attempts to climb South Korea's and the Global Rankings to be crowned as the strongest.
