Berry careful watched her surroundings, knowing that she was the front-line defense against attackers. Nevertheless, she was truly honored to be on this battlefield created by the gods. Unlike her, the NPC soldiers only had a generic AI and were soulless beings.
However, they still had value due to the faith they produced, which strengthened her and Yowlo. When she descended into the mortal realm, she lost most of her angelic powers because she received a level 1 reset. Despite this, she had quickly grown to exceed her companion’s level with the faith he and her other followers exuded. Taking a deep breath, she floated above the camp; Yowlo’s faith was an ecstasy for her. He had been praying harder than usual because he was on the battlefield with his idol.
KMega6KMegacharacter was quickly replaced by NPC archers, so he sat in a building to examine a command map and utilized his subclass commander ability. On the map were twenty-six flags. His team had already taken one of the enemy’s, and there was another nearby, just outside the woods; the next closest one was by the river’s mouth; and after that, one on the other end of the river. KMega considered what to do while Emma puzzledly glanced over his shoulder.
“This ain’t the plan; Elsa should have got that one already.” (Silent)
KMega glanced at where she pointed and pondered for a moment. The first wave of NPC attackers had already been wiped out, so he had little hope for the second. If Elsa had already been killed, things would be a lot harder from here on out. He considered what they would do. Astrid7Astridcharacter was exhausted from her earlier little outburst, and he had only a paltry understanding of the others’ capabilities. He considered sending Berry out to scout but quickly realized that she was needed to overwatch the base.
“Silent, we need to scout the bases.” (KMega)
Emma nodded.
“Then that’ll be next on the agenda for Winter, I mean, 112% to build.” (Silent)
In Emma’s plan, the scouting team was supposed to be built later, but with Elsa MIA, they had to surrender early economic boosts for better intel; this was all while 112% received orders to build something secret during the breaks. An FPS player like Emma knew all the angles of the environment as well as the characteristics of her weapons, or in this case soldiers, to best make use of her surroundings. Astrid was a nuke: powerful but limited. KMega was a hero and a powerful general but remained limited in his available actions due to his need to be in key positions. Emma was a strategist but had little actual combat experience. Yowlo and his companion were something like a nurse and a wild card, nice to have but not very reliable on in a pinch. However, when Winter joined Sword Kingdom, she instantly reverted to an archer class yet did not find it to her liking. Thus, she asked a dwarven blacksmith to forge something for her, and her class, the engineer, was born. A normal engineer specialized in buildings and machines, but Winter focused on weapons. Nothing brought a smile to her face like an oversized cannon. She had just finished carving the mold and pouring the molten iron when the next build order came. She sighed as she went to the workshop to build some spike traps.
KMega looked at the table with twenty-six flags. Three were within range of quick strike NPC teams in a sortie. He frowned.
Across the map of twenty-six flags, there were five other teams holding two flags.
