A question hovers inside Zhuang Nai Nai’s head. Just how brave is this mistress is, to personally seek the legal wife in her work place.
When she remembers Si Jing Yu’s expression back then, she becomes worried for her. She pretends to stop at the same place to eavesdrop.
The staff at the reception table gives Si Jing Yu’s office a call, “Miss Si, a woman named Bai Yue is here to see you. She said she has an appointment with you. Should I let her in?”
She has no idea what Si Jing Yu said, but the staff simply says, “Yes, Miss Si. I understand.” After that, she turns to Bai Yue, “I’m sorry, but Miss Si….”
Before she even gets to say anything else, Bai Yue snatch that phone away from her and speaks to the receiver, “Si Jing Yu, are you going to speak to me properly or are we going to speak in this manner? I don’t mind talking about everything within your staffs’ hearings.”
After saying that, Bai Yue slams the phone on the table before motioning at it with her chin.
The staff looks at her, dumbfounded. She picks up the phone and speaks to Si Jing Yu, “Do you want me to call security, Miss Si?”
Si Jing Yu seems to have said something surprising, causing the staff to look at Bai Yue in shock. After she ends the call, she motions Bai Yue in, “Please follow me, Miss Bai.”
She leads Bai Yue into a meeting room. She pours her a cup of water before leaving.
Zhuang Nai Nai, on the other hand, waits outside. When she sees Si Jing Yu walking over, she looks at her in concern, “Jie…”
Si Jing Yu did not expect to see her there, “What are you doing here?”
Zhuang Nai Nai motions towards the meeting room, “I coincidentally saw her earlier. I don’t want to let you deal with her alone, let me come with you.”
To tell the truth, Bai Yue had looked so intimidating that she is scared that she will get into a physical altercation with Si Jing Yu. Although Si Jing Yu seems tall, she is tall in a thin way. A gust of wind can topple her over.
Si Jing Yu finds it hard to decline her offer. She cannot bring herself to after seeing the worried look in Zhuang Nai Nai’s face. Besides, if there is an outsider there, Bai Yue probably will not say anything ugly.
With that in mind, Si Jing Yu nods.
And so, Zhuang Nai Nai follows Si Jing Yu from behind like a woman with mission.
Inside the meeting room, when Bai Yue realized that there are two people walking in, she sneers at Si Jing Yu meaningfully.
Si Jing Yu ignores that gesture and sits in front of her, “Why are you looking for me?”
Zhuang Nai Nai takes that chance to assess the mistress. Bai Yue looks very smart, like an intellectual beauty. Just, her eyes are a little too sharp and intimidating.
But, no matter what….
Zhuang Nai Nai looks back at Si Jing Yu.
