Chapter 71 – Endless Thoughts

Like abandoning a sinking ship, the Sound Dog Chieftain had fleed from the battle site as soon as he realized the lethal power of Nick’s Vacuum Bomb spell. Just when the leader thought he managed to escape, he heard a sound behind him. There was no way Nick was going to let this opportunity pass and by now, had caught up with the Sound Dog Chieftain in no time.

Seeing the destructor of his tribe, the Chieftain still managed to smile and asked.

“I am not thinking bad of you right now, but would you tell me why you wanted to kill me and my race?”

Dear Readers. Scrapers have recently been devasting our views. At this rate, the site (creativenovels .com) might...let's just hope it doesn't come to that. If you are reading on a scraper site. Please don't.

At this time Nick’s appearance was completely visible to the Chieftain. He took another look at him and nodded.

“You are too similar to the Humanity Statue…”

Nick did not say anything at first and then explained.

“I had no bad motives against you or your race. This was the first time in my life that I came here, and from the word go, you and your race members tried to kill me.”

“What would you do if you were in my shoes? The answer is obvious, right.”

The Sound Dog Chieftain nodded at Nick’s words. He was not happy with the way things had turned out. But he would do the same anyway.

The reason his tribe’s members attacked this strange person was not that they were aggressive but that they were following orders, more specifically, his orders.

After sending Sound Dog packs to various parts of Grey Stone Island, he ordered them to hunt down any stray living creatures of the intelligent races.

With this plan of slow kill, he aimed to destroy the majority of the other races without them knowing that their race members were killed by Sound Dogs, effectively cutting down their overall numbers.

But Sound Dogs made a grave miscalculation — they attacked the last person that they should have messed with. Had they not attacked, and formed a relationship or maybe an alliance with this human of an ancient race that had its statue, it might have been easy to even take over the island without breaking a sweat.

The Sound Dog Chieftain was no fool. He saw what this human was capable of and the kind of destruction he could unleash. With a flick of his fingers, he annihilated the Main Camp of the Sound Dogs race.

This was not the kind of news that would be kept hidden. Once the other races knew about the Main Camp and that he, the Chieftain, were destroyed and killed, they would join forces to occupy and divide the lands of the Sound Dog Tribe among themselves.

Without the protection of the Main Camp of the tribe and the tribe’s Chieftain, the Sound Dog race was like a radar less boat that was at the mercy of the waves.

Nick did not speak much and flicked his hand to create a Sonic Bullet that he shot at the Sound Dog Chieftain’s head.

The once arrogantly strong Chieftain had already lost his confidence and was stuck in a state of turmoil, losing any opportunity to escape or block the Sonic Bullet.

The Sonic Bullet destroyed killed him without any resistance.

Nick looked at the headless corpse of the Chieftain and whispered.

“The one who wants to get everything will lose everything…”

As he said these words, a blue portal manifested and Nick vanished.

In the next couple of hours, all the other tribes received information that the main camp Of the Sound Dogs was destroyed and their Chieftain was killed.

The Sound Dogs were an aggressive race, to begin with. Plus, they did not like the other races and their members, constantly engaging in vile acts towards them and their habitats.

Now that they lost power and were vulnerable against an invasion, the Rock Cow Tribe, Night Eagle Tribe and other tribes allied their armies to attack and destroy the Sound Dogs Tribe completely.

As all of this was happening, Nick did nothing and just stood up in the air watching the events unfold. Within two days, every tribe of the Sound Dog race was killed and almost all Sound Dogs members died in the process.

Despite their pack power, the Sounds Dogs were not capable of enduring against the collective power of the other tribes without their Chieftain or the backing of the Main Camp.

As dawn broke on the third day, the land that belonged to the Sound Dogs, shared between the other races, entered a high scale battle. Within three hours though, there were no more Sound Dog Tribe or Race left.

Nick’s single move caused a race to fall thoroughly.

However, he did not feel regret. In fact, he was happy they were destroyed and lost their strength. They were the ones to cast the first stone at him. They were the ones who harbored wild ambitions to destroy other tribes for more land.

Aware of all this, it was only natural for Nick to not feel any remorse towards them. Nick did not spend any more time at Grey Stone Island. He was keen to move his expedition forward.

With his capabilities and Portal Teleportation, going towards the shore within an hour was no problem. When he reached the shore, he opened the map and inspected it again.

“Now, the only thing I need to do is head north for about 3000 KM. The Blue Rock Island will show itself.”

The distance of 3000 km was not small when it comes to travelling. But Nick did not think it would be a problem for him. He may even encounter stray islands that he could explore and find new things. From the very beginning of this mission, being strong and wielding strong magic power, let him explore and embark on new adventures without worrying much about his safety.

He could have fun on the road and with the little things. Why would he want to go and directly look everywhere, when he could afford to loiter around without any problem?

It was the best thing for an individual like him who had an adventurous mindset. With these thoughts, Nick started flying and made his way towards Blue Rock Island.

As he was flying, he started thinking.

“I wonder why this place that has no ordinary sky and is too dark and stony, has an endless deep ocean?”

Nick wondered why the island that he was venturing on had no plantation whatsoever and why the realm itself had no sky.

As he gazed above, after about 2000-4000 km if he was not mistaken, there was a stone ceiling like structure that made it look like they were in some kind of a stone box. The atmosphere was completely made up of stone.
