“Nobody will know. Please take it. If somebody tries to make you difficult, let me know. I will take care of the issue and teach them a lesson,” Said Hao Ming and pushed the gift to Xiao Tong.
Xiao Tong was reluctant to accept the gift. She didn’t know what to do with the present. A present by prince charming? She quickly shoved it into her bag and looked around to ensure nobody spotted them.
“Thank you, Big Brother. It’s not early anymore. Let’s go to class.” Said Xiao Tong.
Hao Ming shooked his head. He didn’t know what to do with Xiao Tong’s behavior. Is that scary to receive his present?
Hao Ming’s lips curved upward. He followed Xiao Tong from the back. For the present, he purposely chose a bracelet that looked like his but more feminine. He hoped that Xiao Tong could get the hint from the gift.
“Good morning, students. The result will be posted in the hall. Please check it in the afternoon. Xiao Tong, meet me after the class,” said the teacher.
After the class, Xiao Tong went to the teacher’s room. She saw the teacher was sitting on the chair with a solemn expression.
“Teacher, I’m here. Why does the teacher want to see me? Xiao Tong asked.
Xiao Tong had a bad feeling about this. Something wasn’t right.
“Xiao Tong, I’m disappointed with you. How dare you cheat on the exam? Do you know how serious it is? You might get dispelled!” said the teacher while pointing at Xiao Tong’s exam paper.
Xiao Tong was shocked. She never did such a thing. So why was she accused of cheating?
“Teacher, there may be some misunderstanding. Could we investigate first before concluding?” asked Xiao Tong, hoping that the teacher would help her to clear the misunderstanding.
“Somebody submitted evidence that you cheated. This exam paper submitted under your name, but your handwriting was different than the exam paper. I had verified and investigated. What else you want to say? Come on, admit it and save everyone’s time. You did cheat on the exam.” Said the teacher with an annoying look.
The teacher insisted that Xiao Tong cheated on the exam and refused to give a second chance for Xiao Tong to clear her conscience.
“Teacher, I didn’t do it. Please believe me.” Said Xiao Tong with red eyes. Then, without knowing, Xiao Tong’s tears started to drop.
“Teacher, please give me a chance to prove that I’m innocent.” Xiao Tong pleaded.
Xiao Tong grabbed the exam paper to check the handwriting. It was indeed different from hers. However, how could it be? She remembered that she submitted her exam papers after done the test. So who changed her exam paper and slandered her?
