TAEHYUNG’S POV:
I was getting the point, that he wanted me to let him go if time comes. But I didn’t want to. I was neither of the 2 boys for this to happen. The only truth was that, Jungkook was really about to leave me and I knew it before hand. He walked up to the pool and stood there for a while. I couldn’t take my eyes off him. The sun was setting and the faint rays which fell on him made him look like a angel descended from heaven.
Out of nowhere, Jungkook turned and faced me. He smiled at me and closed his eyes. He spread his arms wide. I slowly got up in my place.
“Jungkook, what are doing?” I asked him calmly even though I was already panicking inside.
Without even saying a word he fell back in the pool.
“Jungkook….” I yelled at the top of my voice and ran to the pool.
“Tae, what’s wrong?” Jin hyung came running and everybody else with him.
“Jungkook.. he.. he fell into the pool.” I said panicked.
“Ah, it’s okay. He’s a trained swimmer. Don’t worry. He can stay under water for complete 5 minutes. Which means he can hold his breath for 5 minutes.” Jungkook’s father said while everybody eyes widen.
“Are you sure, uncle? Because he was facing me when he fell backwards in the pool.” I said and he shook his head.
“Look back.” He said and I turned around to see him floating on water.
“Jungkook, you a**hole, come up right now.” I yelled at him.
He opened his eyes and smiled at me. As he came out of the pool, I took my jacket off and placed it around him.
“Scaredy cat. What did you think?” He asked me.
“I dare you Jungkook. Let’s go in. NOW!!” I grabbed his hand and started walking right in front of everyone. I wasn’t bothered of anything at all. My heart was about to jump out of my chest out of fear. To my surprise, Jungkook didn’t even resist a bit, but walked quietly like a child.
I closed the door behind us and then held him against the door. My right arm on his chest and my left hand formed a fist to hit. I raised my hand to hit him, but stopped when I was very close to his face. He didn’t even flinch. I was fuming with anger. Very forcefully I brought my hand down and let him go. I turned around to go run him some hot shower, but he held my hand and now it was me who was against the door.
“Taehyung, I am sorry.” He said and my tears started flowing.
He wiped my tears and held my face in both hands. He kissed my forehead and then looked at me smiling.
“Did I scare you? I am sorry, I didn’t realize you would think that. I trained for 2 years even though my health condition didn’t allow me. I should have told you before. I am sorry. Please forgive me.” He explained and for some reason, I felt my anger melt away.
I brought him close and hugged him tight. I let my tears flow on his strong shoulders. He hugged me back and caressed the back of my neck. His hands ran up and down my back which seemed to calm me.
“I don’t wana lose you, Jungkook. I can’t afford losing you.” I said and he stepped back which made me face him directly now.
He bent down slowly and stopped when he was just an inch away from my lips. I felt his warm breath on my cheeks. I could hear his heartbeats as well as mine. His were calm, but mine were a disaster. he took a step further and placed his lips on me. He very gently kissed my lower lip. His lips were very soft and it made me feel giddy. He raised his head and looked at me.
“I have fallen for you already without even realizing when and how. I.. I love you, Taehyung.” Jungkook said out of nowhere. I was too stunned to speak of anything. I felt the heat rush upto my cheeks.
“I.. too.. have fallen for you. I mean I.. love you too, Jungkook.” I replied to him.
On hearing my answer he quickly pulled me into a hug and held me tight.
“I am happy. I am the happiest man on this earth today. Thank you, thank you Taehyung.” He said in joy and then left for shower leaving me in a daze there.
