Introduction to the Nightmare Realm

After reading the ‘Beginner’s Manual’ and rereading at least thrice to make sure he didn’t see wrong, David felt not just fear but overwhelming frustration at his predicament.
Every seven days he would have to attend a compulsory Nightmare mission which usually involves battle, survival and more, which means violence at its best. There was no escaping this mission, he would either survive or be “deleted” by the Nightmare realm if he refused to accept the mission.
The only silver lining is that the completing the Nightmare mission gives great rewards and based on your score at the end of the mission, the rewards would increase and various benefits would be awarded.
After reading the manual David looked back at the interface floating in front of him which he now knew was the manifestation of the Nightmare Realm.
“I’ve read through the manual and I think I understand what’s happening here but I’m just a normal person, there is no way I can survive this so maybe you can send me back to my home, please?”
In response the content of the interface changed and after reading the message, David’s face paled and he sat down. He died and it was his death that resulted in him coming to the Nightmare realm in the first place. Before he could come to terms with his ‘death’, the interface flashed with another message.

Your arrival to the Nightmare realm are different from other cases. After investigation it is seen that entity David’s soul has crossed (&*^@#&^!@ and arrived at the Nightmare realm. Unlike native denizens of the realms who are born naturally in the universe, entity David’s crossing of (*&(*^%()^% has had the unknown effect of increasing the strength of David’s soul.

David was bombed with a series of messages and he read through them carefully. Suddenly it clicked in his head.
‘Is it because I came to this universe from another universe?’
While he may not know what the censored words were, David came to the conclusion that they were the result of him crossing over to another universe. It was just like those novels he read back home. Thinking of his home David felt sad but it was numbed away by his current circumstances.
There was no going back to Earth. It was a miracle he came to this Universe and it would take another miracle to go back and the chances of that were pretty low. David decided to just move on and his repress his emotions like usual. It always worked for him and still did, he looked at the new manual he received and went over it, not missing a single word.
After reading the manual, David grinned and laughed out loud. This was a really ‘nice’ cheat. While most natives would have to rely on their home worlds to grow strong and face the Nightmare missions, he could use the “Dreams” to grow stronger.
What excited him the most was the methods he could employ. The Dreams were nearly identical to the Nightmare missions except that he could choose the missions himself. What this meant, is that while the mission difficulties were not in his control, the layout of the missions were, and this gave David more freedom then which was actually intended.
David spoke to the Nightmare realms to make sure if what he had in his mind would work and the Nightmare realm gave him a positive reply. There was not much special about David, in fact he was pretty average in most aspects but when it came to horniness and lust he was number one.
The self-proclaimed number one managed to discover that the Dreams where he could complete missions on his own terms could become real life “Wet Dreams”. No one said that he had to fight monsters to gain rewards, he could have sex with beautiful ladies and it would count as mission success. Perhaps this was fate’s way of compensating him for dying as a virgin.
Of course the perverted missions would still have various difficulty levels but it was nothing a young motivated man like David couldn’t handle. Before venturing into the dreams though and indulging himself in various fantasies David saw another message from the Nightmare realm.

David calmed down after seeing the messages. Even if he could have some sexy times in the Dreams he would still have to face the unavoidable Nightmare missions every seven days.
The points could be used to gain various enhancements, powers and items ranging from technological marvels to fantasy artifacts. Of course the more valuable powers and items on sale required more points. The benefit of the Dreams is that it allowed you to gain more points in a more controlled environment.
David could still die in the Dreams, but since he could influence the mission objectives this increased his survival chances immensely. It was still a risk but David figured it was a more ‘calculated’ risk.
Since he knew that he could get more points through the Dreams, David decided to get things from the shop that would make his experiences in the Dream easier instead.
After making some choices, David looked at the interface to make sure he chose properly.

David selected yes and then came across a character creation screen. He wasn’t surprised as he already read about this in the manual. Normally most people would not have access to this option as they were born naturally but since David wasn’t, the Nightmare realm would allow him create his own body.
Right now he was nothing more than an astral form and while it looked physical it was anything but, so David started to work on creating a body for himself. There were limitations as he couldn’t change his race or go beyond the limitations of his race.
As his soul was human so his body must be human too, this was a restriction imposed by the Nightmare realm and he was also informed that in order to maintain a ‘balance’, he had to pay 2000 points to the Nightmare realm in exchange for his body creation. David could pay this back after completing his first [Nightmare mission] and became an official ‘member’ of the realm.
David ended up with a young man with a handsome face and athletic body who had blackish purple hair and amber eyes on the character creation screen. After confirmation, he saw his perspective shift as he became taller and a lot stronger. The effects of Increased Virility could be felt strength and energy flooded him.
It wasn’t enough a boost to make him even moderately superhuman. He was just a tad bit stronger than the average baseline male human. He looked down and smiled seeing his big dick. After all if he was going to carry out ‘special’ like missions he should have an appropriate weapon for the job.
Now all he had to do was perform missions in the Dream and farm points so he could survive the Nightmare mission in seven days.
