Epsilon did indeed feel something, which he believed should be the dimensional energy as he entered from the crack. The dimensional energy was different from what he imagined. In some ways, it was a bit mysterious because he could not pinpoint what or how the energy was generated.
He did have some thoughts on the matter but that was work for another day. Right now, he had a basic idea of how to use this energy from the dimensional crack to power up his dimensional gate. For him, this was an easy task. But he realized it would be hard for other beings, such as the Werfurs, to execute something like this.
It was not about technology but imagination and the use of magic.
Epsilon did not wander in the island dimension. Once he knew what he wanted, he teleported himself back to the Underbroom Research Center.
The Wefurs who saw him exclaimed in shock. Rabial too was no exception. Epsilon just entered the dimensional crack, looked around another dimension and came back like he was strolling in his backyard.
At this time, they all understood the difference of power between them and Epsilon. Rabial also found a renewed understanding, from the depth of his core, of why the Werfur Race – Headquarters agreed to Epsilon’s demands without making things hard for him.
When working with Epsilon, everything was solved quickly without any hassles or losses. But if they were to stand against him once more time, they would be serving their race members to him as a sacrifice.
If once their chances to win against him were slim, in today’s situation, it was zero.
Epsilon opened his eyes and took a deep breath. The teleportation between dimensions was not a joke and he understood that, especially as the teleportation was not completed by using dimensions and space but quantum field.
Rabial and the other Werfur researchers and guards were looking at him with expectation in their eyes.
He formulated the next steps of the plan and started explaining.
“I have created the gate. Let’s set it up.”
He said this as he waved his hand. Soon, a rectangular gate manifested right next to the dimensional crack.
Five different colored chords, thick-like ropes emerged, connecting and entering the dimensional crack. Moments later, the dimensional gate showed a purplish, black opening like a second dimensional crack itself.
Rabial and the others started clapping and nodding in approval. Their hopes could be seen on their faces.
Epsilon continued explaining.
“The Dimensional Gate I created uses energy from the dimensional crack itself. The five ropes are connected from the gate to the crack. Never ever let these ropes be harmed. If they are, the connection between the Dimensional Gate will cut off, and the gate will not work.”
“I will now add the Dimensional Wave Reader so we can target the dimension of the Greenland Continent.”
Epsilon finished his words. He went back to the right side of the gate and looked at Rabial. Rabial quickly fetched the Dimensional Wave Reader from his robes. He had kept this in his possession the whole time, as it was a valuable item that would tempt anyone.
Epsilon teleported to Rabial’s side and took the Dimensional Wave Reader. He then went back to the right side of the gate. He was flexing his power a bit but it was needed.
The gate was 10-15 meters in size, almost reaching the ceiling of the Underbroom Research Center, which was essentially a cave with old ruins and statues.
Epsilon took a deep breath and put the Dimensional Wave Reader in the right circle-shaped blank place. He steadied himself as he whispered.
“Activate”
As he whispered, he vanished and teleported to Rabial’s side again. The Dimensional Gate started to change colors and vibrate. The momentum of the tremors was so much that the whole cave started vibrating as well.
Some of the guards and researchers thought it was an earthquake. However, within seconds, the shocks settled and some words glowed on the right side of the gate.
‘Dimension – Greenland Continent – Alkabra Planet – Terracot-3 Star System – Algeb Galaxy’
Anyone who could read would know at a glance that this was the address of the target dimension. The name of the continent was given by the Werfur race, so Epsilon added it too.
Seeing that everything seemed to be in order, Epsilon nodded with satisfaction as well. He then looked at Rabial and started talking.
“The Dimensional Gate that connects to the Greenland Continent is ready. I have done what your race wanted. Now, I would like to get what I need.”
All of this was done in a very short duration not leaving enough time for Rabial and the other researchers to adjust their mindset. Right now, they were rendered speechless. They did not even know what to think. What kind of concept was this. Not to mention the gate, they did not even start researching the Dimensional Wave Reader, but he completed all the things by showing up a couple of times.
In a matter of three working days, Epsilon managed to complete the project that most likely would have needed 10-50 years to see the light of day. At present, they were not sure what reaction was most appropriate for the occasion.
This was a foreign concept to them. They realized it was impossible for them to pull off this kind of a job in this short a time but as intelligent creatures, they understood that many things were possible with the power of magic and knowledge.
Epsilon’s skills made them look like fools but if that were truly the case, they would not be able to contend with the humans or other sentient beings as they had over the years, even earning the awe of many as a race. Their basic intelligence allowed them to respect Epsilon’s achievement even more.
Even if humans were to see this, they too would understand that with enough knowledge and magical understanding, there was nothing they could not accomplish.
By this time, Rabial came back to his senses and looked at Epsilon. He handed a thick document to him.
“This document contains what you need. I would like to ask you something.”
Epsilon looked at Rabial’s eyes with a smile, seemingly waiting for his question.
“What are you going to use these for?”
Epsilon smiled generously and answered.
“It is a secret, my friend. Now I am going back to do my own thing. You can send your people across already. If there is something wrong, do not worry, I am here anyway. When they go to the other dimension, a gate will manifest on the other end. They can return using that gate.”
