Dale Mitchell was at rock bottom. With a low-paying delivery job and no girlfriend, Dale spaces out and ends up running over a pseudo-omnipotent being. Through some sick twist of fate, he has been forced to replace that being. Finding himself in a situation that seemed too strange to believe, Dale was forced to fight for his life in a world shaped by his decisions. As the newly-appointed 'Keeper' of the world, it was now his turn to make the rules.

However, Dale was not alone in this position. There existed thousands of other Keepers just like him, pit against each other by strange forces. Now, science and sorcery clash on the battlefield, with the fate of his world at stake.
